I hope your student has shared his/her course request sheet for the 2020-2021 school year with you. Students are working on this in CCR classes and the counselors are also going into CCR to assist with this process. Mrs. Stonebarger and Mrs. Petet have been working with our 6th and 7th grade students.
I want to remind you about our upcoming Course Selection Support Nights onTuesday, February 18th for current 6th and 7th grade students and Thursday, February 20th for current 8th - 11th grade students.
Both of these support nights will be open to current and new students. It is not mandatory for current students and parents to attend but if you and your student would like more support please plan to attend.
Our goal on these nights will be to walk families through the course request sheet and share the course catalog. We will also share the Springdale School District Math and Science Flow Charts. Math, Science, English and Social Studies teachers are making recommendations for your student in these classes. You can find the course catalog and the flow charts on our website at soi.sdale.org under students.
Students will be entering course requests into Home Access Center in Eschool beginning March 2nd. You can view this and assist your student by having them log into HAC as well. Parents/Guardians will review and approve all course requests for next year at student led conferences on March 17th or 19th. If you need to make changes you may do so at SLCs.

Course Selection and Registration Support Nights are next week! Current families will have an opportunity to learn which courses their student has selected for next year. New 2020-21 families will get to choose their student's courses and complete registration process.
