Everyone on the team (classroom teacher, school psych, resource teacher and administrator) is bilingual and communicated all in Spanish to the parent.

On October 11, 2023, Bayyari has students that participated in Mastercard's Girls4Tech global-wide event to celebrate Girls4Tech’s 10 year anniversary.
Mastercard's global STEM Education program, Girls4Tech™, encourages tech-based education for middle school/upper elementary girls to get them excited about possible STEM careers. Girls4Tech connects the foundations of our business to STEM principles through inquiry-based activities and real-world challenges. Through Girls4Tech, young girls had the opportunity to play the role of several Mastercard STEM professionals. It takes all kinds of interests and skills to pursue a career in STEM. The activities are hands-on and interactive, and the girls took on the role of cryptologists, fraud detectives, data scientists, and overall experts of all things digital. They were led through the activities by Mastercard employees who are currently in many of these STEM careers themselves, so they had the chance to meet and learn from some of these experts in person, too. They joined the community of over 3 million girls across 60 countries who have already gone through this program.

Bayyari Elementary is now an official waystation for the Monarch Butterflies. Our students and teachers work very hard planting and maintaining what’s necessary for monarchs to thrive and multiply. Hands on learning has increased student knowledge about these endangered insects and every butterfly that completes the metamorphosis and is released back into the wild is making a difference.

Arkansas Peace Week sponsored an art contest for the state. The theme: What Peace Means to You?
25,000 submissions were entered and our very own Star Perez had her piece selected as one of the 8 finalists in her category. Star and her family traveled to Little Rock to see her art displayed in the Capitol’s rotunda. We are so very proud of our amazing Bayyari Bear.

Sign up to run in the Mini Wild Dog Races! A one time entry fee of $5 enters your student into all three races. Your student can pick up an entry form with race information during P.E. class. Kindergarten-2nd grade runs a half mile race. 3rd-5th runs a one mile race. If you can only make 1 or 2 of the races, we'd still love to have you join!
